Texting what I plan on doing is just too much work.

IF I get my main account back I will be rolling a Goblin Shaman on Nathrezim (or somewhere, if not Nath I'll be transferring something to whereever with heirlooms). I will also be, once the RAF account gets you your rocket, possibly transferring that level 60 paladin to my main account. Maybe.

If I don't get my main account back (I will be pissed) I will roll a dwarf shaman, if it's allowed with a classic account. I will more than likely not drop the $120 on TBC, Wrath, and then Cata on the RAF account any time soon. If they bunch it into a battle chest (without Cata, obviously) and the price is right I may consider it. But I seriously doubt it will happen anytime soon. Christmas is coming, heating bills suck, etc. I want to play this game so very bad, but I just can't afford to shell out that kind of money right now.

I'm mailing this shit out tomorrow on my lunch. I'm going to send it first class. I'll keep you posted on what I hear.

I'll be on tomorrow night. I don't really care what we level, I'm fine with solo leveling that shaman. I'd try the BC trial shit to make a shaman, but I think there's a level 20 cap on that shit.

Hours

So I took a grenade this week. Here is my schedule in Central Standard Time:

Sun: 1-8pm
Mon: 10-7pm
Tues: 10-7pm
Wed: 10-7pm
Thurs: Off
Fri: Off

Which means I can literally play every night this week. It'll only be for this week, after this it'll be back to my normal 4-1s. I can't get around that either. So we might as well exploit the fuck out of it. I figure we can get at least a 60 and a half this week if we both work at it. Hopefully you're down, I switched it just for this.

Hours

I work Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7am-4pm. I work 12:30pm-9:30pm on Tuesdays.

I have inventory every month at the end of the month, so my days may get switched up around then. The first of every month I work 5am-2pm.

I stay up till around 12am on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

On Saturday and Tuesday I can stay up till around 3am. Mondays I can stay up till around 2am. These times are more dependent on how tired I am or how bored I get doing whatever.

I won't be able to devote every night to playing WoW since I play BFBC2 a few nights a week. If you figure out when we can play together I'll just play Battlefield on the nights we can't play WoW.

Ok, I like wow again right now. My mage is fun as fire. I hear tanking sucks though. DK tanks are currently the best from what I read. Paladins and warriors the worst. Melee dps is kind of bad, hunters take a bit to relearn. The new glyph system is tits. The social button is gone. Tons of abilities are gone. You have to go to the trainer to train shit. Buying glyphs that you already had is annoying with inflation. I dropped almost 1k gold so far on glyphs.

I'm sort of into it now. Tier 10 is purchasable with the points from heroics now, and sort of cheap. I plan on getting my mage some t10 as he'll be my main in cata. Followed by the shaman as tradition goes. Know your history I give you week before you get distraught with WoW not being able to teach you astro physics and decide to start learning iHTML or whatever new bullshit is out.

Oh also, mount speed is based on your training level, not the mount. So you can ride a regular level 40 mount, and it runs like it's epic. More skins++

Gears of War 2

I know you said you'd pick this up eventually so this isn't really about trying to talk you into buying it sooner or anything I'm just posting this because I think it's handy to know.

Horde is pretty much the only thing I do in this game. The other MP modes are fun, but be prepared to get your face shot the fuck up by the shotgun 100% of the time because that's all those niggers do.

I don't know if you've read anything about Horde, but it's wave after wave of mobs that you have to destroy. As long as one person survives the team moves on. Every 10th wave is a pain in the dick and on the 11th (21st, 31st, etc) the mobs get stronger. The highest I've ever been on a normal Horde is wave 28 (of 50) I think.

The Lancer is fucking godly, DO NOT LOSE IT. You'll be pissed if you do.

So Patch 4 point whatever is out in wow. I guess it made stuff sort of hard again. They nerfed the aoe tanking shit, made classes more complicated, nerfed mana regen, and are working towards adding CC back. Apparently, a lot of "people" are bitching on forums about how "broken" the game is. By broken I mean hard again. By people, I mean the shitty WotLK only players. I LOVE IT.

Install was flawless twice.

Ubuntu installed fine on my laptop then on my pc with no problems. The only issue I have, because it wouldn't be linux without them, is that every window opens in the top left corner everytime you open them. It's annoying as shit to have to move shit around everytime.

Halo

Granted you don't care about Halo, it has a built in mode for making videos in game. It's fucking AMAZING. I was messing around taking screenshots. Turns out you can download said screenshots from bungie.net. See if this works. It's a bullshit shot. But it's more just that it works.

Thursday.

I'm going to gamestop.
Gears of War 1 is 7 bucks. I'm getting that for sure. Depending on how expensive part 2 is, I'll consider it.
Crackdown is a GTA style sandbox game where you play a cop with Superpowers. It has online Coop. I'm getting it, it's 12 bucks. You should consider it.

I tried to eat one of those motherfuckers today. My jaw started to hurt part way through, and I was actually full. Fucking genetic modification... Leveling my warrior still. I'm 51 as of this post and on my way to Outland. You should get Halo Reach. I can't so you should.

I thought we were done with this. I'm glad we're apparently not. I am downloading Kubuntu. Which is just ubuntu with KDE as the main shell instead of gnome. With the new version coming out pretty soon. I kind of can't bring myself to invest much time in fucking with it. So like I may as well just mess with it. I might subscribe to last.fm sometime. I've considered it but I don't listen to enough music as it is.

Edit: Shit wouldn't install. It would load the desktop then give an error about kde3init. I'm going to waste the last of my cds trying to burn one and attempt it later. Meh.

Last.fm radio is good news.

So I was over to a friends house and he has his Last.fm account on his Xbox. He had it playing a radio station from Last.fm and it was playing all kinds of awesome shit from bands I haven't even heard of.

Long story short you may want to give it a try. It sucks to get working with Banshee or anything else unless you subscribe. However you can get the Last.fm client easily.

Try going to Synaptic and searching for "lastfm". If it doesn't show up try this:

I only did that bit and it worked fine.

nautilus-elementary is fucking awesome.

So I just installed the elementary shit. Fucking awesome.

Just mark all of those to install (and anything it requires) and it's in the theme shit.

PS: It will install Docky and Midori, so you'll have to uninstall them unless you use them.

Zune = Too much work to mess with on Linux.

Best way to get it working is to install VirtualBox and all it's innards. So, not going to be adding shit to my Zune while booted into Ubuntu any time soon. Apparently there's a way to get it working with Banshee, but I haven't really messed with listening to music from it since I can just plug my speakers into it.

Not sure if you even have a Zune or not. I'm sort of glad I do since it syncs so well with Windows and my 360.

Finally defeated.

I finally found a problem I can't beat. VLC runs in fucking Greek. There is no menu option to change the language in the options. I looked comparing the English version to the Linux version. It's not there.

Running vlc --language=en doesn't work. Somebody said to delete the language folders from %appdata%. Couldn't find any settings similar. I give up. Let me know if you can figure it.

**Edit** If this happens to you, where menus look like they are in Greek, it's in the Appearance: Fonts top. Make sure Symbols isn't set on any of them as the font. Turns out some weirdo knew what it was. I couldn't find a solution by searching for language problems because it wasn't one. It was a font problem. Now to uninstall all of the bullshit I installed to try to fix it with.

Anti-Virus

If you need an Anti-Virus program, you can use AntiVir (I use it on Windows and love it.)

Here's how to install it on Ubuntu.

Flash crashing.

You'll have it happen sooner or later. It keeps happening to me off and on. Most if you watch a shit load of flash videos in a row. If flash shit refuses to load, open the terminal and 'killall plugin-container' then reload the window. It should fix it.

ALSO: Tons of wallpapers for Ubuntu.
