I thought we were done with this. I'm glad we're apparently not. I am downloading Kubuntu. Which is just ubuntu with KDE as the main shell instead of gnome. With the new version coming out pretty soon. I kind of can't bring myself to invest much time in fucking with it. So like I may as well just mess with it. I might subscribe to last.fm sometime. I've considered it but I don't listen to enough music as it is.
Edit: Shit wouldn't install. It would load the desktop then give an error about kde3init. I'm going to waste the last of my cds trying to burn one and attempt it later. Meh.
I've been booting into Windows more than Ubuntu. I got the 10.10 beta installed and it has like 50 or so updates everyday that need to be applied.
ReplyDeleteIt's the same old shit with Linux as it was last time I installed it. It was fun for a few days, now it's just the same old shit. I just see no benefits in booting into it over Windows now, especially since I don't do anything differently on either system and I can play games (easier) on Windows.
Also, I just got Battlefield: Bad Company 2. That game is solid awesome. Attempting to hide behind a wall in a building and then it getting blasted away is just pure win.
Finally, I may or may not resub to WoW next pay check. All depends on how much money I have left over.
PS: I have been checking this shit everyday to see if you've posted shit and you've neglected to do so. It saddens me greatly.
I'm actually messing with kde now that I got a working kubuntu disk. I'll probably just install kde on ubuntu though. I have wow again but I'm only on it late as fuck. Jenny and I are fighting so I haven't been doing much of anything.
ReplyDeleteBC2 is shit imo. It's a fucking Sarjevo simulator. Join a losing team, in a village surrounded by snipers and hills. Proceed to run building to building hoping you don't get one shot. Get in a tank, the same sniper can solo your tank with C4. Fuck that game.
